Dr. Michele Sayball inspires her patients to optimize their nutrition as a foundation that catalyzes self-healing. She uses the most recent medical research combined with traditional healing practices to investigate the underlying causes of health challenges.

Through nutrition, detoxification, lifestyle changes and counseling, she provides a solution to restore health and enhance vitality. Her approach to health care begins by fine-tuning every organ system in the body so that they work optimally with one another by using food as medicine. Individual nutrition–based treatment acts as the foundation she uses to help you solve complicated health problems.

As an integrative doctor, Dr. Sayball collaborates with medical doctors and other healthcare providers. She values her relationships with her patients and provides them with informed content, shared decision making, and patient education.

Dr. Sayball is determined to help patients of all ages achieve their highest level of health by going beyond treating symptoms or prescribing a one size fits all medicine.  She considers naturopathic medicine as the perfect complement to conventional care for diabetes and cardiovascular disease, among many other diseases.  She helps people restore their health and reduce their dependency on prescription medication and surgery.

Dr. Sayball earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and her Certificate in Naturopathic Obstetrics & Midwifery from Bastyr University in the State of Washington.  She received extensive training in natural therapeutics such as Naturopathic Nutrition from the most distinguished doctors in the field during four years of clinical and obstetric rotations at Bastyr Center for Natural Health.  She also earned her BS in Nutrition and Herbal Science from Bastyr University and her EMT from the State of Connecticut.  She worked for 4 years as a doctoral teaching assistant in the areas of Histology, Clinical Laboratory Assessment, Gross Human Anatomy and Neuroscience.

Immediately post completion of her Board examinations she worked as the lead physician for Southern Vermont's only family practice and midwifery clinic managing cases ranging from maternity care and childbirth to pediatrics and adolescent medicine, woman's and men's health and geriatric medicine.

Dr Sayball's experience as a teacher and public speaker enables her to educate and empower her patients to make their own informed decisions. As a Naturopathic doctor, she is able to coordinate the best of conventional and alternative medicine to provide the highest quality of care to her patients.

She draws inspiration from the food as medicine model in her daily life, raising four boys with her beloved spouse.  In her spare time you will find her at farmer's markets, playing outdoors and by the sea.
